Obviously, the star of the film. Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry and this is a role he has never played before. The actor plays a techno-savvy intelligence bureau officer in this flick and is going to be quite thrilling.

Another aspect is that Mahesh Babu makes his debut in Tamil as this is first straight film in Tamil – he has dubbed for the Tamil version himself. Since the star grew up in Chennai, he’s extremely fluent in this language. What we have heard in the trailer shows that the Telugu star is a pro in Tamil and this will be just like watching a Tamil flick.
AR Murugadoss, the director
This director has given some of the best films in Indian cinema like Ghajini, Kaththi, Thuppakki and Holiday. Now he returns with this magnus opus made on a budget of Rs 125 crore. The director has always come up with unusual storylines that a common man can easily understand and this movie too is going to dazzle the audience.

Murugadoss is working for the first time with Mahesh Babu and this combination is an exciting one indeed. Both these celebs make classy films and SPYder is going to be a film that will surely make a mark in Indian cinema. And it is expected that it will be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2017.
The stunts and the villain
SPYder is an action thriller and the stunts have to be larger than life given that Mahesh Babu and Murugadoss are working together. Stunt director Peter Hein has worked on this flick and it is being said that some of the actions scenes are mind-blowing. Also, actor and director SJ Suryah is making his debut as a villain in this movie. Now isn’t that exciting?
