Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Judwaa 2’ which was a highly anticipated movie of 2017 has been released on Friday, September 29. The much-awaited film managed to create a buzz all around social media much before its release leaving its fans waiting excitedly. As the advance online bookings already started earlier this week, the film is getting a tremendous response from across the country. The sequel of Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Judwaa’ which is directed by David Dhawan is already getting a lot of appreciation from audiences.

The film has received a massive opening following the fact that it is released in a festive week and it also gets back Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan after 20 years with the sequel to original Judwaa. Also, Salman Khan’s recent online promotion for Judwaa 2 and rumours of his cameo too increased the anticipation from the movie while Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez are there to add the glamour quotient in the film.

“The advance booking of Judwaa 2 has been very promising and is amongst one of the strongest responses that a film has received in recent years for a partial holiday period. We are expecting a very good weekend and hoping the movie will get in good footfalls across all INOX multiplexes” said Rajender Singh, Chief Programming Officer, INOX Cinemas.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh and Girish Johar, the movie has got off to a brilliant start and we can expect solid collection on the first day as it is getting an amazing response.

“I assume the film will make as much as Rs 15 crore on the first day. Since the holiday seasons are on, ‘Judwaa 2’ has all the possibilities of crossing the Rs 50 crore mark on Sunday. With Monday being an extended holiday, we can expect the film to do better. It has all the possibilities.” said Girish Kumar in a statement.

The last big successful movies at the Box Office were low-budget films like ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.
