The much-anticipated TV reality show Bigg Boss is back with its 11th season. The show had a grand premiere on Sunday, October 1. Host Salman Khan began the show with a powerhouse performance and later introduced commoner and celeb contestants. The show, based on theme of neighbours has a mix of commoners as well as celebs just like previous season.
The grand night also witnessed Judwaa 2 stars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu joining Salman on the stage and inside the show as he introduced fans to the contestants for this year. While many contestants entertained the audience with interesting gigs and dance performances, Salman was in his usual witty mood.
However, what made the season premiere more memorable were first ever fights amongst the contestants on the first day of this new season. At first, an ugly spat took place between Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actor Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta, who is the show’s producer. After Shilpa Shinde quit the show, the two had the two had exchanged allegations in a controversial blame game – a glimpse of which also took place on the stage of Bigg Boss.
TV actor Shilpa Shinde acted all cool when Salman invited Vikas Gupta on the stage. However, things soon changed and Vikas talked about previous altercations with the Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain star. In a war of words, Vikas told Shilpa, “Aap sahi pakde bolti hain par pakadti galat raasta hain (you say ‘sahi pakde hain but choose the wrong way).” The duo then had an ugly spat over the show. Salman tried to support Shilpa but quit when he saw the two were not listening to anyone.
Other two contestants who locked horns on the grand premier are Arshi Khan and Puneesh Sharma. Arshi Khan claims to be a famous personality in Pakistan and is rumored to have previously dated cricketer Shahid Afridi while Puneesh Sharma is the owner of Playboy Club in Gurugram. He wants to rule the world and feels that Bigg Boss is the first step in that direction.
Puneesh Sharma makes a dramatic entry into Bigg Boss house, leaving the contestants shocked. He is commoner, but considers himself no less than a celeb! He claims partying is his hobby. He is more known for organizing parties and spending money lavishly on them.
