A source from the channel informed, “Ashmit had approached the channel to be accepted as a contestant, but was told that only the common men and not celebrities can participate.”

Though the former Bigg Boss contestant, Ashmit has laughed off and denied the episode, claiming it to be rumor. But on the other hand, a close source to Patel has confirmed of the actor’s approach to the channel though it was not to be a participant.

“Ashmit wanted to be on the show as ‘Mallika’s friend and also to promote his recently released movie opposite ex-flame Veena Malik, ‘Super Model’,” explained the source. We still wonder the connection between the two as the movie has been released already, almost two weeks before the show goes on air.

Nevertheless, Ranbir Kapoor is expected to be the special guest on the show to ease out things for Sherawat to choose her companion from the remaining contestants. “Ranbir Kapoor has been approached to enter the show as a special guest. Since even Ranbir is the eligible bachelor in the country like Mallika... It will be great to see both of them come together on the same platform. However, there is no surety whether or not he would agree to be a part of the show,” claimed the sources

The story certainly does not end here. Even the adult movie actress who has made a way in Bollywood, Sunny Leone is also expected to be on the show to help out her friend Mallika Sherawat to choose her soul mate from the participants.

The ‘Hisss’ actor is keeping her fingers crossed to find her soul mate on her new reality show ‘The Bachelorette India’. According to the reports, approximately 1, 27,000 men had sent their entries of which 30 contestants have been shortlisted and will get a chance to woo the ‘Jalebi Bai’ who demands an honest and charming to sweep off her feet.

The show goes on air from October 7 on Life OK channel.
