One of the most awaited films of 2017, Fukrey Returns, has finally hit theatres on December 8 (today) and going by the good response which the film had got in its first installment, Fukrey Returns is set to get a decent opening on the Box Office. According to film critics and Bollywood analysts, Fukrey Returns may mint around Rs 3-4 crore on its opening day. While these are mere predictions, the film is expected to earn more than its Fukrey 2013, which did a business of Rs 2.5 crore on its opening day.

Banking upon the good word of mouth of Fukrey 2013, the filmmakers are expecting a blockbuster opening for Fukrey Returns. The makers of the film has retained the leading cast of the film including Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh. With Fukrey Returns trailer receiving a well response on YouTube, the sweet memory of the film’s first installment will be a major reason to drive people to cinema halls to know what fun and surprise has the franchise bought with its 2nd installment. So far on YouTube, Fukrey Returns trailer crossed more than 1 crore 40 lakhs views, which is a good sign that the audience is keen to watch excitement has it got in its second attempt. 

In November last month, the makers of Fukrey Returns had unveiled Mehbooba song, which is the remake of O Meri Mehbooba from Manmohan Desai’s 1977 fantasy-adventure, Dharam Veer. The new song has been picturised on the four Fukreys — Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh. The song has been voiced by Neha Kakkar and Yasser Desai. It has been composed and recreated by Prem and Hardeep with a rap by Raftaar.
