A few of the biggest names from the Bollywood industry and Shah Rukh Khan’s close friends Karan Johar, Farha Khan, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Amrita and Siddharth Malhotra wished the superstar by visiting his farmhouse in Alibaug, Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan along with wife Gauri and friends celebrated his 52nd birthday and spend some great shared some great moments. Started his career by appearing in many television series in 1980, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most successful actors the Indian film industry has ever produced. Shah Rukh has so far acted in more than 80 films and has become the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’.

Chahat | 1996

One of the earlier film of Shah Rukh Khan, and directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Chahat was a musical love hit.  Shah Rukh as Roop Rathore falls in love with Pooja Bhatt as Pooja Rathore and sister of shrud businessman Naseeruddin Shah as Ajay Narang. The story revolves how Shah Rukh fights all odds to get his love while taking care of his ill father played by Anupam Kher as Shambunath Singh Rathore. 

Pardes | 1997

Shah Rukh Khan appeared in Pardes along with Amrish Puri, Alok Nath, Mahima Chaudhry and Apurva Agnihotri. Amrish Puri as Kishorilal wants an Indian bride for his westernised son played by Apurva Agnihotri. He gets him engaged to Ganga played by Mahima Chaudhury, his friend’s daughter and brings her to USA. But Ganga falls in love with Shah Rukh Khan who also falls in love with her. However, the story gets a twist when Ganga is married to Apurva. The story is about how Shah Rukh Khan, despite her love for Ganga, hide his feelings but in the end finally gets her. 

Veer Zaara | 2004

One of the biggest blockbuster hit of all times, Veer Zaara was a movie which melted the hearts of many. Shah Rukh Khan as Veer, who played the role of an Air Force officer, falls in love with a Pakistani girl played by Preity Zinta as Zaara, when he saves her from a bus accident. Veer’s heart is broken when he gets to know that Zara is soon going to marry and meets his fiancé played by Manoj Bajpai as Raza. The story revolves around how being an Indian and Air Force officer, who is not allowed to visit Pakistan, Veer gives his Air Force career and visit Pakistan to take Zaara. Upon meeting with Zaara, his fiance Raza couldn’t take this and frames him in a fake case by making him an Indian spy who is jailed for 22 years. The story further reveals how both the loves meet in the end with the help of a Pakistani lawyer. 

Mohabbatein | 2000

Musical, love drama blockbuster Mohabbatein is Shah Rukh Khan’s one of the best movie. Shah Rukh played the role of a music teacher who takes the challenge to make realise the power of love to a disciplined, strict Principal of a college named Gurukul played by Amitabh Bachchan as Narayan Shankar, who doesn’t believe in love. In the movie, first as a student Shah Rukh Khan as Raj Aryan falls in love with Narayan Shankar’s daughter played by Aishwarya Rai but after he gets to know and is forced by his father to give up his love, she commits suicide. Raj Aryan is also rusticated from college. The story reveals how Shah Rukh takes the job of a music teacher and by helping three other students to follow the love of their life finally melts Narayan Shankar’s heart. 

Kal Ho Na Ho | 2003

Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan starrer Kal Ho Na Ho is one Indian film that can never be forgotten. Shah Rukh as Aman falls in love with Preity Zinta as Naina, but cannot confess as he is suffering from cancer and will soon die. Preity and Saif as Rohit who are best friends never realise that they also share love feeling for each other. Later Preity also falls in love with Shah Rukh and decides to tell him but somehow he gets to know that Preity is going to confess her love to him. Shah Rukh lies around and even before Preity propose him, Shah Rukh does a fake drama of being married. Heartbroken Shah Rukh decides to bring love again in Preity’s life and discovers Saif feeling for her. He decides to make both of them fall in love with each other but the story later gets a twist when Preity and Saif find out that Shah Rukh is not married and was suffering from cancer.
