Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya has become among the most anticipated releases of next year. As for the first time, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and perfectionist Amir Khan share space on the big screen. While Senior Bachchan is intensely taking part in the filming of each scene, there are speculations that sir Bachchan had a heated argument with director Vijay Krishna Acharya.

The incident took while shooting for a particular scene recently, when Senior Bachchan had an argument over with a director which last long for almost three hours. According to reports, Mr Bachchan was unhappy about a particular shot while director Acharya was rigid about it. The conversation soon resulted into an argument which eventually created tension on the sets. The matter only got resolved when Aamir Khan intervened and played the role of a peacemaker.

The reports also stated that Amir Khan later tried to make the atmosphere light once the shooting was resumed.

Director Vijay Krishna Acharya, however, denied the reports by saying, “There is no truth to this. Mr Bachchan is a delight to work with and is extremely professional. We are having a great time while filming this project. We share a warm rapport, so, I’m shocked at this disrespectful speculation.”

Meanwhile, actor Amitabh Bachchan remained unavailable for comments. Thugs of Hindostan stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is slated to release next year.

Vijay Krishna Acharya has previously directed films like Tashan and Dhoom 3.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in upcoming comedy drama 102 not out along with Rishi Kapoor. The film is directed by Umesh Shukla and will be released in December this year.
