The ongoing tussle between BCCI and Lodha Committee escalated to a new level today after BCCI President Anurag Thakur threatened to call off the India-New Zealand series claiming that they had no funds as their bank accounts had been frozen by the panel.
More serious charges by the BCCI followed with members slamming Justice Lodha for humiliating them in front of the world. Justice Lodha was quick to react on NewsX to the charges telling that the banks had misunderstood their instructions which was not about a freeze on regular payments.
The BCCI has not responded to the Lodha panel just as yet, but the war of words have prompted questions.
