Insight: DMK questions Jayalalithaa's decision to hand over charge to 'loyalist'

It's been 3 weeks since Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was admitted to a Chennai hospital, but the absence of credible reports over her health has only given political fodder to her opponents.
After kicking off a storm by infamously demanding Jaya's photograph as proof of her recovery, DMK Chief Karunanidhi has now raised questions over the allocation of her duties to loyalist O Panneerselvam. Karunanidhi claims that there were doubts over Jaya personally signing the transfer order, and hinted the handover to be unconstitutional.
