In Kashmir's capital Srinagar another terror attack by Pak proxies lead to 2 SSB jawans being martyred and 6 SSB jawans sustaining injuries.
But even as Pakistan continues to export terror and bleed Indian braves, a group of opposition parties including the Congress led by Farooq Abdullah have demanded unconditional talks with Pakistan. The parties believe that the road to peace with Pakistan doesn't run through the combative path taken by the Centre but through negotiations.
Interestingly Farooq Abdullah skirted criticising Pakistan for the blood bath in Uri wishing not to take questions on this issue, but kept insisting that terrorism increases in a hostile environment. The comments by Farooq Abdullah and the Rahul Gandhi led Congress have incensed a wide variety of experts not to mention the BJP.
The latter has questioned the opposition's silence on Uri and the tacit implication that India's surgical strikes are fuelling terror attacks.
