Food Talk India, Offroads India to curate culinary exploration to Kashmir

New Delhi: Do you yearn to go on a foodie trail to satiate your taste buds? Well, you can pack your bags and hop on the foodie express to Kashmir soon. Food Talk India, a digital food community, and Offroads India have teamed up to curate a culinary exploration to Kashmir in June.

The Gurgaon-based Food Talk India has joined hands with Chandigarh-based Offroads India, a travel content guide, to curate a unique food experience to Kashmir this summer.

The trip invites travellers to embark upon an exciting culinary journey to explore the distinct flavours, customs, and traditions of Kashmir from kahwa tea to Kashmiri breads, seekh tujj, and a traditional Wazwan meal on a boat over Dal Lake.

The trip will cover in and around Srinagar and Pahalgam from June 2-5 at a cost of Rs 32,500 per person, read a statement.

With the trip, they aim to showcase and promote Kashmir as a tourist destination. The trip is designed to connect travellers with the local flavours of Kashmir while exploring the natural beauty of the valley.

"We want to highlight unexplored destinations in India through our curated, immersive experiences; and given Kashmir’s rich culinary heritage, food was the most obvious theme for this trip,” said Navkiran Brar, founder of Offroads India.

The trip is limited to 20 people and will appeal to the experimental travellers who are passionate about food and are seeking authentic and culturally engaging experiences.

“Being a Kashmiri myself, this trip is very close to my heart. We have crafted this trip in a way that it will give people an authentic taste of Kashmir,” said Shuchir Suri, founder of Food Talk India.
