The Grub Fest 2016: Sinful delights, a dose of music and an experience to be remembered forever

New Delhi: There is no sincerer love than the love of food and there is no better talk than talking about food! And when your city is witnessing the country’s biggest food festival, it is mandatory for the food fanatics to visit the place for an eternal experience.

India’s major food festival Grub Fest kicked off on 14th October at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

With the just-concluded Navratra festival, the Grub Fest was a perfect deal for the food lovers. Over 70 restaurants participated in the event and the festival was the biggest grub ever.

The fest showcased its Grub Menu displaying some signature delicacies with a dose of some good music and hearty performances to keep the people entertained.


It was a perfect brew of food and entertainment with the city’s most iconic restaurants showcasing their mouth-watering delicacies.

Hopping around the stalls, tasting different varieties of food, cooking workshops, kebab chats, organic gourmet markets, all made the plates extra enticing.

The Grub Mile (food truck festival) was another huge pull factor at the festival. Over 15 food trucks that operate in Delhi and NCR, served some toothsome and luscious dishes to the lovers of food.

“This was the fourth successful Grub Fest and we aspire to go bigger and bigger by each year,” said Arjun, the founder of Grub Fest.

More food, more outlets, more young professionals, coming and exhibiting their products would be the main focus of the fest, he added.

The festival was a dream –come-true for all the foodies.

Popular names like Social, Koyla Kebab, Cafe Hera Pheri and Karim’s Delhi 6 had put out their stalls to enthral food lovers while as the new entrants – which included PCO, Niche Lounge & Bistro, Chull and Ek Bar, were many among others who made their debut in the fest.

The fest ended on Sunday evening. Those who attended it are definitely going to wait for the next year eagerly to treat themselves with the heavenly gourmets.
