The city witnessed a fashion galore with the all new runway rising

New Delhi: With the weather changing its lovely colors on the verge of festive season, its fashion fever all over again. Adding heat to it was Runway Rising: a NextGen fashion exhibition conceptualized by the famous socialite and page-3 personality- Ramola Bachchan.

The event filled the shoppers cart of Delhiites with more vibrant colors of fashion. It was undoubtedly a shopper’s paradise when over 100 fashion adepts have unveiled their latest collections under one roof at the 9th edition of the exhibition took place today at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi.

Participating Designers included diverse and famous collection of names, like, Rose Tree by Kamini, Pallete, Priyanka Signature, Mumbai, Bumble Bee by Varnica, HARSH HARSH, Shubani Talwar, Faquire by Deepa Arora, Voilla by Roma Bhalla, Zephyr by Jyoti Khosla and Nayansee to name a few. The event witnessed exhibitors not only from India, but also from across the borders.

Established in 2012 by Ms. Ramola Bachchan, Runway Rising aims to provide all the young, emerging NextGen Designers a platform where they can showcase their innovative collections. Over the years, Runway Rising has developed as a brand and one of the biggest exhibitor Pan-India.

After a series of super-successful shows in past Two Years– culminating in Runway Rising Christmas which showcased over 200 NextGen designers and included fashion shows, this Runway Rising would be its ninth edition with over 100 NextGen designers.

Runway Rising draws a large audience of Delhi’s cognoscenti, fashionistas and shopaholics alike. Designers from around the country will unveil their collections of garments, shoes, jewelry, watches, bags and accessories.

"Having launched Runway Rising, I find it gratifying when I get calls from young designers telling me what they are doing and how, having never exhibited, excited they are at the prospect of the first time. The excitement gets transferred when I see their collections and realise that there's so much going on in our country. We as a people have an amazing creative an entrepreneurial spirit and it’s good to see that being taken forward by our next generation, many of whom will be frontrunners in the fashionscape of the future" said the delighted Ramola.
