Join NewsX as we go on a weeklong adventure trip with a group of Mahindra enthusiasts on the Mahindra Authentic Northeast Adventure.

The journey starts in Assam and heads towards the snow-capped mountains of Arunachal Pradesh. Negotiating difficult terrains and soaking in beautiful sights such as crossing the mighty Brahmaputra, the convoy reaches Tawang, a historical town on the border with China.

During the journey the team also crosses Sela, a high-altitude mountain pass that tests the physical capabilities of the participants. The drive then takes them to the beautiful Nuranang waterfalls and along the pristine Sangti river in Arunachal Pradesh.

The second leg of the journey allows the team to explore Kaziranga National Park situated in the in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam. The team also visits the hill station of Shillong, known to most as the ‘Abode of clouds’.

The convoy of 25 Mahindra cars consisted of various cars including the XUV 500, Scorpio and the TUV 300.
