The dengue outbreak in the national capital, and the threat of swine flu in the rest of the country has drawn attention to India's crumbling medical healthcare system.
But our netas and our governments are not finished just as yet with gambling with your life.
In a highly controversial move the Rajasthan state govt has now decided to use cow urine as a disinfectant to sterilise ICU wards, surgical equipment in one of the country's topmost hospitals.
The aim, says the hospital is to test the anti-septic properties of cow urine. Doctors across the country are appaled. They say that this is a violation of safe practive reminding us that a lab is the best place to conduct tests.
