Nation At 9: Dawood's greatest foe nabbed

One of the most wanted Indian criminals, Chhota Rajan, believed to be a close associate of India’s most wanted underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim for long, has been arrested in Bali, informed Indonesian Police. 
Indian escapee Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje, better known as Chhota Rajan, who was on the run for decades is wanted in over a series of murders in India, the police informed on Monday. 
Acting on a tip-off from Australian police, Indonesian authorities detained Rajan on Sunday as he arrived in the popular resort island of Bali from Sydney, Bali police spokesman Heri Wiyanto told AFP.
55-year-old Rajan, a famous Indian criminal was on the run for over two decades, said Wiyanto with Interpol flagging him as a wanted man back in 1995.
 “We received information from police in Canberra yesterday (Sunday) about the red notice for a murderer,” he further told the agency, adding, “We arrested the man at the airport yesterday (Sunday). What we know is that this man was suspected to have carried out 15 to 20 murders in India.”
Rajan is expected to be deported to India; however, there is no official confirmation on the same as of now.
