A martyr's father in Kashmir wants the government to intervene and cancel the T-20 match that is going to be played between India and Pakistan in Dharamsala next year in March. In violation of the Geneva Convention, Captain Kalia was incapacitated by the Pakistani army.
Captain Saurabh Kalia's father has threatened to go on a hunger strike if the match is played between India and Pakistan. The last thing that the father wants is a row of Pakistani army marching through the streets shouting jeers and cheers about the cricket game.
It was during the Kargil War that Captain Saurabh Kalia was killed while being held as a prisoner of war by the Pakistani security forces.
