Kirti Azad today sat before the media, claiming that the workings of the DDCA under Arun Jaitley were no less than the infamous CWG scam. He says he that he has proof of fake firms, embezzlement and shady dealings to cronies of all order in milking Delhi's cricket lovers of their tribute to the great game.
The Aam Aadmi Party is rubbing its hands together with glee; not only have they successfully turned the discourse away from the graft charges against one of Delhi bureaucrats, they've got a BJP insider to fire the salvos. The charges that Kirti Azad made are not entirely hooey; some reasonable questions of irregularities and uncomfortable dealings are well made.
But even as cricketers like Gambhir and Sehwag tried to bolster Arun Jaitley's image, the latter is convinced that there are no breadcrumbs which leads to his door.
