The Jammu and Kashmir high court has restored the state government's powers to fly the state flag on government buildings in effect putting it at par with the national tri-colour, sparking outrage and demands for the scrapping of Article 370.
In a bid to uphold the sanctity of the state flag, the state government took the position of the constitution to reinstate and re-establish the authority of the state flag in all constitutional offices and houses.
The BJP has strongly condemned the decision by calling it a setback as this would pollute the essence of a one India dream. Many are suggesting that the Article 370 should be scrapped of from the constitution so that this does not impeded in the collective progress of a unified India.
