After Aamir Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar sparks row over intolerance debate. Karan today said India is a tough country to speak about one’s personal life because it can land one in jail.

First Shah Rukh Khan faced the wrath of the fringe, then Aamir bore the brunt of his self goal, and now it's Karan Johar's turn.
In a candid interview the filmmaker with dripping sarcasm says in India's form of democracy there is no freedom to speak freely.
Reigniting the debate, Bollywood again stars in the tolerance potboiler. Swift and scathing to react, the BJP says Karan Johar has succumbed to the opposition's propaganda, while the Congress asks why Johar doesn't have the right to articulate his 'mann ki baat'.
