What's in a name, they say, but, for our netas it means everything. So, Bangalore became Bengaluru, Mysore became Mysuru, Madras was named Chennai and the list goes on. Latest in the great Indian rename show is Gurugram; yes, our very own Gurgaon is now Gurugram, and the Khattar government’s logic is mythology.
But, the opposition sees a saffron conspiracy in the new name. The big question now is — what really will change from here on? Will renaming end power outages? Or will there be no traffic snarls in Gurugram from now on?
The answer we all know is an emphatic “No”.
