Nation At 9: Army villainesed in Kashmir; Why Mehbooba allowing it?

The state government in Kashmir is facing its second big challenge in less than two weeks. After students at NIT who were demanding the right to fly the national flag were caned black and blue by the police, the army is under attack.
For the last four days protests have raged against the braves of the army on the back of a malicious and false molestation charge leveled by some locals in Handwara town. In the course of the protests four needless deaths have taken place.
The malicious agencies, presumably backed by Pakistan, are continuously inciting the crowds despite the fact that the alleged victim has released a video clip absolving the army. Even today there was violence in Handwara; Srinagar is under curfew.
Instead of acknowledging this fact and coming out with a clear exoneration of the army, the Mehbooba Mufti coalition government is busy seeking an inquiry into the deaths of the four locals at the hands of the military as it was trying to restore control in the face of a mob intent upon smoking out a bunker.
