Kashmir Integration

As the anti-integration fire rages on in Jammu and Kashmir we ask why has integration become a bad word? Why is it that speaking up for Kashmiri Hindus, NIT students or even the army today is to somehow negate rights of the Valley Muslims?
Kashmir has erupted with protests, there is unprecedented strife in the Valley, 'outsiders' are being lathicharged, army jawans villainised, Kashmiri Hindus shunned and the anti-integration fire fanned — it is a situation where there is a definitive lack of trust.
Some of the most influential voices on Kashmir — Amitabh Mattoo, Anupam Kher, Shabnam Lone, Sushil Pandit, Ram Madhav, General Bakshi — shared their thoughts with us.

Kashmir Integration

Integration is good but integration with force is bad. That is borne by Newtons 3rd law of motion. 2nd integration which was envisaged in 1953 has seen been regularly eroded against the wishes of people. The constituting has been vandalised. So where from the integration will come. All is happening is the will of people is suppressed with army. The unfortunate our jawans in the army are dying on one hand and the young Kashmiri blood flown on the other hand.?All New Delhi is doing of thinking the next move in the chess game. Sincerely and honesty is lacking.
