Here's another scam on the hard working and aspiring middle class Indian. If a UK watchdog is to be believed, at least seven top selling Indian cars are coffins on wheels.
A crash test study conducted by NCAP has revealed rather chillingly that these best selling cars are compromised severely when it comes to ensuring your safety.
A car remains a big investment for Indians often they are the vehicles of aspiration and self-esteem. So it matters most when the manufacturers of these cars end up selling us false dreams.
Of course there are those who have dismissed these reports as the machination of a compromised self-style watchdog interested only in furthering an agenda. However, to dismiss this organisation as a dubious entity might be doing a great disservice to the unsuspecting car buyers.
