The police are investigating a complaint that 346 Hindu families have been forced to flee their homes, out of fear of the dominant Muslim community in the village.
The BJP is accusing the Samajwadi Party state government of encouraging this fear. All this, while the BJP and the Congress have been making moves this weekend to figure out who will lead their campaigns in UP.
