Mumbai-Goa highway bridge collapse, Mumbai-Goa highway, Maharashtra, BJP Minister Prakash Mehta,

After the tragic Mumbai-Goa highway bridge collapse in Raigad district of Maharashtra, the BJP Minister Prakash Mehta when confronted with the camera about the complaints of victims' relatives not being briefed about the search and rescue efforts by the administration, heckled the journalist questioning him. He alleged that the reporters were raising non-issues for the sake of TRPs and that he will solve his department’s problems on his own. His supporters later also heckled the TV reporter. Under sustained pressure from NewsX, the CM had no option but to haul Mehta over coals and force him to tender an apology. But is an apology enough for his negligence and then his arrogance?
