A day after the rioters went on a rampage in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the situation in the two states remains tense.
The Prime Minister has appealed for peace saying violence is not the solution and the dispute can be solved within the legal ambit alone. Additional forces have been brought in to maintain law and order.
But with passions still running high, the Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have only gone as far as writing long letters to each other.
What is stopping them from meeting and chalking out a solution?
