With an eye to teach Pakistan a lesson for sponsoring terror, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called in a review meet to discuss the Indus water treaty between the two nations.
Top bureaucrats will be briefing PM Modi on India's options on the bilateral water sharing agreement. Many experts have pointed out how the treaty largely favours Islamabad as it gets 80% of the water available from the 6 rivers.
The review meet comes just 2 days after the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) called the treaty unfair. So will India cut-off Pak's lifeline to pressure it to act.
