Nation At 9: Colour comedy turns dark; racism in the name of 'roast'

"They asked me if I ate a lot jamuns" ...that's what actor Tannishtha Chatterjee told us when we asked her why she walked out of a television comedy roast last night.
She claims the only thing the comedian hosts could find funny about her was her skin colour. She says it's a deep-seated prejudice and that's why it can never be funny.
Many have come out to agree with her, others say that there no lines in the sand in a comedy show. The debate has pricked at India's conscience.
