Blaming India for derailing the SAARC summit, embarrassed Pakistan has announced that the summit scheduled for November 9 and 10 in Islamabad will now be held on an alternate date.
Earlier after India's announcement of not attending the summit, other SAARC countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan too had pulled out. However, a spokesperson from the Pakistan's ministry of foreign affairs said that a new set of dates for holding the 19th SAARC summit at Islamabad will be announced soon.
Taking a tough stand against Pakistan, the BCCI will write a letter to ICC asking them not to place India and Pakistan in the same group at the Champions Trophy to be held in seven months time. The Bollywood though remains divided on Pakistan stars. Should India stop playing cricket and inviting Pak artistes in these times of heightened tensions?
Singer Adnan Sami, who is of Pakistani-origin but is now an Indian citizen, has hailed the Indian Army for conducting surgical strikes on terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. On being trolled on Twitter by Pakistanis, he said their outburst clearly means they fail to distinguish between "terrorist and Pakistan".
Mahesh Bhatt close on the heels of other apologists has come out and preached for dialogue with Pakistan and to de-escalate the war-like situation. He comes out with a note to others to preach on the need to kill terrorists, not talks.
