On a day when terrorists attacked two army installations in Jammus's Nagrota and Chamliyal areas, India lost 7 army men staving off the attackers. Two officers and five jawans were killed in counter terror ops in Nagrota and Samba.
Today was also the first day in office for the incumbent in GHQ Rawalpindi general Qamar Bajwa, a man who wants the situation at the LoC to "improve”.
This has been the 29th attack in India by Pak backed terrorists since the surgical strike by India inside Pakistan. NewsX's Athar Khan discusses the attacks, the response and India's options following Bajwa's elevation in Pakistan.
The panel includes former chief of army staff general Shankar Roy Chowdhary, Congress’ Tom Vaddakan, BJP's Sidahrth Nath Singh, Prof. Madhav Nalapat and Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant.
