The horrific gang-rape of a 71-year-old nun in West Bengal has had our political parties taking pot shots at each other which perhaps became the pretext for the Vatican to interfere.

The seat of the Catholic Church will be sending a delegation that will meet the elderly nun who was gang-raped. The BJP and its ally Shiv Sena have questioned the visit and have urged the government to intervene.

The people of Bengal have shown their anger irrespective of their religion in marching through the city , even blocking Mamta over this terrible crime and sin against an elderly nun from a convent.Just like them Christian leaders from various denominations across the country have visited her. Any human being having a conscience can visit and express his/her anguish and pray for her irrespective of their nationalities. I am surprised at News X making a hue and cry at the visits of Vatican or Italian Consul. I view that there is nothing wrong in doing a human service. Our political bosses having earlier studied in Christian Institutions still send their children to convents. Why ? Let the Government first arrest the culprits before saying anything.

I appreciate this channel for taking this debate with absolute bravery while all other channels are worried to take such a debate with sincerity and always mock the entire majority. Rape is a rape and there is no religion. This is 1st time I watch your debate and am highly satisfied. I will switch from other debates and will watch yours. Appreciate Rahul
