WB government to release Netaji Files

KOLKATA: After a big wait, Mamata Banerjee government has finally decided to make the Netaji files public. These Nateji files which are not the Central files but, State files have been still kept under the state governance watching Kolkata.  

64 classified files which are available with the West Bengal government are to be released. These are crucial files regarding Subhash Chandra Bose’s alleged whereabouts, what happened after plane crash in Taiwan, and some reports that he might have taken to Soviet Union.  
 
There are certain files which are not even with the Home Ministry but are with the Prime Minister’s office and that are yet to be declassified.
 
Subhash Chandra Bose’s grand nephew, Surya Bose, had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Germany and a promise was made that all these files would be released, as was during the campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014 but, this has not been done yet.
