IAS officer’s death: Two ministers caught napping in assembly

BENGALURU: As angry protesters on Tuesday gathered on the street s of Karnataka and called for a bandh in Kolar district over the death of a popular & honest IAS officer DK Ravikumar, two ministers were found napping inside the assembly.

Even as common men's emotional outburst was witnessed on the streets, their MLAs didn’t seem to care. Two ministers were caught napping as the matter was taken up inside the assembly.

Forest Minister Ramanath Rai and Higher Education Minister RV Deshpande were napping in the assembly while outrage in Kolar over the death of IAS officer.

The protesters are demanding the CBI probe into the mysterious death of IAS Officer Ravi who was found dead at his official flat.

Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, who took on the sand mafia in Kolar district of Karnataka when he was the Deputy Commissioner (DC), had hung himself from a fan in the bedroom of his flat on Monday.
