AAP leaders meet Rajnath, discuss Punjab violence

New Delhi: AAP leaders on Thursday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and called for a National Integration Council meeting over the violence in Punjab after the desecration of the Sikh holy book.
The Aam Aadmi Party leaders said the recent spate of incidents of communal violence across the country need to be addressed.
"We have called for a meeting by National Integration Council so that the situation in the country is looked into," AAP leader Sanjay Singh told reporters.
He accused the Punjab government of delaying a probe into the desecration of the Sikh holy book, and said no steps were taken for four months to stop the violence.
"The Punjab government remained silent for four months and kept on delaying the investigation of such a serious matter. This could have been done much before to stop the violence," he said.
Senior AAP leader Ashutosh was also present in the meeting with Rajnath Singh.

Unrest in Punjab due to desecration of Sikh Holy Book in October

The incident of desecration of Holy Book reported in Punjab toward third quarter of October 2015 has jolted every right thinking person round the globe. It looks from the developments that Punjab Government is doing all to bring people behind the act to book. Just mentioning that a prediction hinting of a tougher time for Punjab as well in November and December 2015 was made by this Vedic astrology writer , as early as last year on 23rd October 2014 , in article – Months of substantial concern for India in next year 2015 – published online in thesop.org. The related part of the prediction reads : “ This spell is followed by another spell in November and December when Mars joins Rahu , the North Node of the Moon. Those at helm of affairs , both in the Centre and the States , may have a tougher time. These seem to be relating to North or West direction reckoned from Delhi. Punjab or Rajasthan may also take a cue.” Thus Punjab was clearly hinted in the prediction. The alerting hint also comes accurate around the same time in tragic unrest in Faridabad, which happens to be on way to Rajasthan and west of Delhi.
