The instant noodles launched by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, have failed to obtain the mandatory product approval from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

On the one hand, the Patanjali noodles packets, display an FSSAI license number and on the other hand FSSAI Chief, Ashish Bahuguna said, “Patanjali Atta noodles has not got product approvals from us.”

FSSAI has also come forward and revealed that the mandatory product approval was never sought by Patanjali Atta noodles.

FSSAI has also alleged that the license number might have been granted by the State for the manufacture of the product and not by it for the sale of the product.

The regulator has said that the matter has been brought to its notice and it will now be pursued.
