Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Venkaiah Naidu has come down heavily on Congress leader, Mani Shankar Aiyar for his statement against the Modi government.
Naidu said, “Mani’s remarks an act of treason” and that, Congress cannot choose to remain silent on the issue.
Naidu condemned Aiyar’s statement saying, “How can a citizen of one country go to any foreign country and advocate there that their Prime Minister has to be removed. It is atrocious.”
Congress leader, Mani Shankar Aiyar shocked the nation yesterday by making a controversial statement against PM Modi and his government.
Aiyar said, “Remove Modi and get us back to resume dialogue.”
He asked Pakistan government to assist them in removing the Modi government. He also said that it is only Congress which can help in resuming dialogue with Pakistan.
