Congress President Sonia Gandhi said, “I appeared in court with a clean heart. I respect the law in a way that it should be; I don’t have any doubt in the case and the truth will prevail in the end”.

“The central government is desperately trying to attack and make opposition parties weak by using government institutions but our fight against all this will continue forever,” said Sonia.

“I respect the law. Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses false allegations and he thinks that the opposition will give in. But I want to tell each and every citizen of this nation that I and the Congress party will not cower before the BJP. We will continue to fight for the poor and the weak of the country and remain a strong opposition. We will not move even an inch backwards,” Rahul said defending his position.

Former PM Manmoha Singh while defending the Gandhis said, “We will put up a determined fight because we stand for certain ideals and values”.
