New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the Delhi state Assembly on DDCA scam strongly hit out at the central government and asked for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resignation for conducting such a shameful raid through CBI in his office.
Calling the Dec 15 CBI raid in his office a shameful act by the centre, Kejriwal accused Modi government that it was attempting to threaten Delhi government through the Central Investigation Agency. The BJP led government is not able to digest defeat in recent state assembly elections.
“December 15th was a black day. The PM must apologise for it,” said Kejirwal. He criticised PM Modi for not being interested in welfare.
“The NDA-led government is hampering our governance,” he said. The Delhi Chief Minister said that there was no damming proof against his secretary Kumar.
CBI raided the office and found only liquor and a few lakhs of rupees. He said that the CBI raid was done to shield Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. “I was reaching to out to the Union Ministers for public good,” Kejriwal added.
Soon after Kejriwal’s address, BJP walked out of the Delhi Assembly.
