Give Modi free hand on Pakistan: Swamy

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be given a free hand on Pakistan "since (the) buck stops with him", BJP MP Subramanian Swamy said on Saturday.
"Namo be given a free hand on Pakistan since he is working to a strategy," the Bharatiya Janata Party leader tweeted, a day after Modi's surprise visit to Pakistan.
"As PM, he must (be) allowed risky decisions since (the) buck stops with him," Swamy added.
On Friday, Modi took everyone by surprise by flying to Lahore to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif while on his way home from Kabul.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif welcomed the initiative of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Lahore. Modi was warmly welcomed by Sharif, who then took the PM to his ancestral home in Raiwind.
The two had also met in Paris during COP-21 and also had had a surprise meeting in Bangkok.

Modi visits Lahore

Dr. Swamy is correct. PM needs to know in-depth of his calculative risk. He has not yet signed any MOU nor has he discussed any agenda. Congress appears to be punishing itself because of dead slow action by Dr. Singh, and now Mr. Sharma wants to preach diplomacy to Modi ji! Mr. Sharma the only one now trying to gain numbers from Cong Yudvraj has no other subject left but to criticise Modi for any and every action
