Today, 23rd of January 2016, will remain a red-letter day for Subhas Chandra Bose’s family members who are joining NewsX on the broadcast.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday declassified Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose files at the National Archives of India on the occasion of Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary.
Modi released digital copies of some of the files in presence of family members of the late freedom fighter. File 2 of the declassified files contains material on disappearance and death of Bose. Letters signed by Nehru and a cabinet note proposing to bring remains from Japan to India were also released on the occasion.
