New Delhi: BJP’s Member of Parliament Shatrughan Sinha has again embarrassed his party with controversial comments. Sinha said, he has tremendous faith in his dashing and dynamic hero PM Narendra Modi, but wondered who his great advisers were to advice President’s rule in Arunachal Pradesh.
Shatrughan Sinha said that the matter was sub-judice in the Supreme Court under a 5-judge constitutional bench and there was no need to take up such a decision in a hurry. “What was the hurry and worry?” Sinha added if the decision didn’t go in favour of the party, they would not have any explanation to offer.
Sinha has constantly provoked the party in the past as well. However, no action has been taken against him by the BJP high command.
The party is vehemently defending the decision to impose President’s rule despite the criticism and accusation from Congress as well as other political parties. On the other hand, a being a member of the party is questioning the decision of the President’s rule in Arunachal Pradesh. Also, the cabinet which finally recommended President’s rule in Arunachal Pradesh is chaired by the PM himself.
