General VK Singh calls media presstitutes

NEW DELHI: Union Minister General VK Singh on Tuesday came in limelight once again after attacking media and describing it as 'presstitutes'.

Taking a dig at an English news channel, VK Singh made the remark on Twitter, saying “Friends what do you expect from presstitutes.”

While briefing the media in Djibouti, former Army Chief made a sarcastic comment earlier on Tuesday and said “Evacuating Indians from Yemen is less exciting than visiting Pak embassy.”

Singh is camping in Djibouti to oversee the evacuation of Indians from Yemen.

Earlier, Singh was in limelight for attending Pak Day at Pakistan high commission in the presence of Separatist groups.

Last month, after attending the Pak Day celebrations in the national capital, Singh had posted on twitter with the hashtag ‘DISGUST’, defining ‘Disgust’ and ‘Duty’ in a series of tweets.

VK Singh calls media pressistutes

shameful on part of any indian to talk like this. And not at all by Minister. If media absorb such remark and purchased argument of BJP that it is personel matter, then Indian media has no future.if Govt. Is not acting on such remark then Media has to fight if necessary legally.Only shouting on Channels will not solve the issue
