IB shared details of Subhash Chand Bose's family with Britain's MI5: Report

NEW DELHI: Few days back after it was revealed that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru spied on the family of Subhash Chand Bose for approximately twenty years, a media report claimed that the Intelligence Bureau (IB) had shared the details of Bose's family with Britain's MI5.

According to the report, declassified documents reveal that the Intelligence Bureau shared a letter written by Netaji's key aide AC Nambiar to Bose’s nephew Amiya Nath.

IB official SB Shetty wrote a letter on October 6, 1947 and sought "comments" of KM Bourne, MI5 security liaison officer, posted in Delhi referencing a letter written by Nambiar to Amiya Bose on August 19, 1947.

Bourne forwarded the letter written by Nambiar to Amiya Bose on October 7, 1947, saying "You may make any comments on this letter and it will be appreciated." The letter could be about Bose's wife and daughter though the context is unclear.

Meanwhile, Bose's grandnephew will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Germany and demand for declassification of all secret files related to the freedom fighter.

Surya Kumar Bose, the President of the Indo-German Association in Hamburg, has been invited to attend the reception in Berlin which will be attended by the Prime Minister who is on his three-nation tour.

I.B. Shared Bose details with MI 5

No one should be surprised. Nehru led and Gandhi "inspired" Congress need to be exposed more. Now that it is certain that Netaji Bose never died in the air crash at Taipei in Aug 1945, his "disappearance" and all those who benefited from his tragic forced exile must be known to the nation. Its time Netaji papers were released.

Recent revelations concerning Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

I want to commend the Indian news media including NewsX for focusing on the urgency of Declassification of all Netaji related secret files. We now urge the Prime Minister of India Hon Shri Narendra Modi to authorise declassification and immediate release of these files. The people of India and admirers of the Hero of Asia worldwide have a right to know the truth.
