JNU row: Police want joint interrogation of Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid & Anirban Bhattacharya

New Delhi: Delhi Police and the Delhi High Court on Wednesday said that they wanted to jointly interrogate Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya. According to reports, they have given the full version of their stories and the lawyers have enough evidence to prove the sedition charges slapped on the three.
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday decided to defer the bail plea hearing of Jawaharlal Nehru University’s student union president Kanhaiya Kumar till February 29. Kumar was arrested over sedition charges.

The High Court will produce Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya secretly ensuring the complete security of the accused, especially after serious security lapses in the past hearings. 
Both Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya surrendered themselves after the Delhi High Court on Tuesday agreed to hear a plea filed by them.
