Thane (Maharashtra): A man has allegedly killed 14 of his family members in Kasarwadi near Thane, Maharashtra. The accused then committed suicide after murdering all of them.
Hasnil Warerkar (the accused) slit the throat of all of them and then killed himself. According to the police, the family members were first sedated and then stabbed with the same knife.

One of the woman Sabia Bharmal (22) said to be accused's sister has managed to survive the killing spree and is in hospital, the police added.
The lone woman survivor Sabia's condition is described as 'critical'.
"Prima facie, evidence suggest that the accused bolted all the doors and windows of the house and killed his family while they slept. Later, he hung himself near a staircase in the bungalow and the knife he used was found near his body," Thane Joint Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbare said.
Sabia's loud screams prompted some youths in the locality to break open the doors and windows of the house, he said.
A forensic team has been summoned to the crime scene while the bodies have been sent for an autopsy, Dumbare added.
The police is probing motive for the crime and suspects family dispute as a reason.
