India on alert due to possible attack

MUMBAI: According to the reports, Maharashtra state Intelligence agency has issued an alert regarding a possible attack in India, saying that Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) is planning to re-run of 26-11 in the country.

In coming 2-3 months, LeT has planned an attack in India and the targets are Railway stations and Hotels, once again.

Eight to ten Pakistani terrorist are involved including some suicide attackers who will enter via sea-route with the help of their counterparts in India, said reports.

Following the alerts, proper security measures will be taken at entry and exit points of railway stations.

The alerts comes days after the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attack Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi was released from jail in Pakistan.

In 2008, 10 Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists entered Mumbai via the sea-route and over 166 people were killed in the attack that lasted three days.
