New Delhi: In a major development which took place on Saturday, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was invited to the Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) which will be taking place on February 2017. The Chief Minister has accepted the invitation. 

According to reports, the organisers of the Karachi Literature Festival met Arvind Kejriwal during the collition event in Delhi where they asked him whether he would like to attend the fest.

So far, there is no official information about any formal invite given to Kejriwal, but a verbal acceptance has been made by the Chief Minister.

Founded by Ameena Saiyid, OBE, and Dr. Asif Farrukhi, the KLF has been a reverberating success since its launch in March 2010. It is jointly organised by Oxford University Press, Pakistan and British Council.

The festival comprises of various literary events, discussions, book launches and other creative stuff including interesting workshops to showcase literature and peoples’ contribution to it. People can also see authors and perform book signings.
