New Delhi: A probe into the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots has given a clean chit to the Samajwadi Party Government. In Muzaffernagar riots 62 people died, 93 were injured and thousands were made homeless.
The probe report has blamed the local police and officials for misjudging and mishandling the situation. One of the prime accused Sangeet Som gets vindicated in the case without being quizzed by the probe panel.

Sangeet Som said “all charges against me were false, this was a governments plot. I haven’t seen the complete report but have heard that the report exonerates us”.
This report has been criticized by many and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is asked to take the responsibility.
The probe report has nailed but just cops.
