Hyderabad: TDP MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is facing public fire after he made vulgar comments against women during the audio releasing function of the film 'Savitri' three days ago.
A Hyderabad-based lawyer has filed an FIR against the MLA. Actor and MLA Balakrishna happens to be the brother-in-law of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Facing a backlash after his comments, the TDP MLA was forced to tender an apology, but the opposition has decided to corner Chandrababu Naidu's kin in the assembly over his remarks.
According to reports, the Opposition has said that they will be taking up this issue in the Assembly. Yesterday, Balakrishna had sent out a press note to the media and asked for 'forgiveness' for whatever he had said. Balakrishna said that he didn’t mean to say in the way it was taken.
YSR Congress Party member RK Roja also said that such vulgar comments by Balakrishna not only warranted an apology, but it also required the apology of CM N. Chandrababu Naidu as well as Balakrishna for whatever he said during the audio launch three days back.
